Our Captain Reiner is happy to help you overcome your fear of flying
My name is Reiner Kurz, and I have been conducting these seminars very successfully for several years.
After 32 years and over 22,000 hours of flying experience as a captain, instructor and aviation expert, most recently on a Boeing
B747, and accompanied by several semesters of psychology at the Open University in Hagen, it is an honor for me to pass on some of this experience to you.
I would like to help you overcome your fear of flying and, among other things, provide you with knowledge about the work of a pilot in the cockpit, explain their decision-making processes, and clarify the technical connections.
The seminar lasts approximately 4-5 hours, and the number of participants is limited to a maximum of three.
This allows me to address your needs and concerns regarding flying very well.
To carry out the following:
We begin with a psychological section in which we examine your personal situation and develop a coping strategy.
After that, we will conduct a realistic flight in the simulator. I will explain a great deal about airplanes, cockpits, and flying, and you will also gain in-depth insights into how a flight is conducted, such as where all the noises come from.
And then a theoretical part about airplanes, turbulence, go-arounds, and anything else you might want to know.
The seminar usually takes place on Tuesday mornings by arrangement.
Alternatively, the seminar can be conducted individually via video call, with the simulator portion scheduled by arrangement, ideally in the evening. This gives you greater flexibility and allows me to better address your individual needs.
